Dr. Andrew Brown

Dr. Andrew Brown grew up in Germantown, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from The Ohio State University before moving to Texas to earn his veterinary degree from Texas A&M University. After graduation from veterinary school, he continued his training in a one-year rotating internship program at the University of Georgia, where he grew his interest in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging. He has a particular interest in endocrine disease and kidney disease, both in emergent and long-term settings. Dr. Brown joined the Family Pet Clinic of NRH team in December 2024.

Dr. Brown and his wife, another veterinarian, live at home with Amos and Nymeria, a black lab and a Great Pyrenees mix, Stanley and Pinot, both gray tabby cats, and a tarantula, Pennywise. In his free time, Dr. Brown enjoys most outdoor activities, reading, playing video games, and cooking.
