Dr. Kailey Kestner was born and raised in Austin, Texas and received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. Dr. Kestner has wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as she can remember but had officially gotten involved in the field during a veterinary practicum course in high school. She spent many summers working as a veterinary technician in Dripping Springs, Texas, which allowed her to gain practical experience with companion and large animal species.
Dr. Kestner’s clinical interests include preventative medicine, dermatology and surgery. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family and two dogs, Libby and Rory. Dr. Kestner is very excited about joining Family Pet Clinic of North Richland Hills and beginning her new journey in the DFW area!
