Dr. Rachaell Miranda-Narváez, originally from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico developed an interest in veterinary medicine at a very young age. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras campus while volunteering in different veterinary clinics to gain experience with different species. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University. She has a strong interest in small and exotic animal medicine (particularly pet birds), cytology, hematology, and internal medicine.
Dr. Miranda-Narváez has a passion for traveling and exploring new places. She also takes advantage of every opportunity to practice her newly acquired barista skills and share a good cup of coffee with good company. Besides work and coffee, Dr. Miranda is very creative and enjoys photography, DIY’s home projects, reading, baking, trying new places to eat, roller-skating, and relaxing at home with her fiancée (also a veterinarian), her two dogs, Hali and Maga, and her cat, Petunia. This is Dr. Miranda’s first time in Texas and she’s excited for all the good food, company, lessons, and adventures to come.
